A purpose, finally!

I have decided that this (crap)blog will now have a purpose (besides doing nothing and letting people stalk me), it shall now be my means of tracking all little projects and keeping notes of important days (eg the day I promised someone something with the penalty of something very bad if I didn't uphold that promise). First thing to do would be make a list of current projects that I already have started I suppose.

1) Cosplay
Recently a few friends(the same friends what want to put me in a dress >.>) and I have decided to go to every anime convention we can find in style, which means cosplay each and every time~! Since I can not sow clothes to save my life, Chiru (her cosplay name) is making all the clothes, and I am making all the props, since Charii (her cosplay name) can not do either her main task will be holding our spot in line :) We have two group cosplay ideas so far, they are as follows:

Alice in wonderland, steampunk variation
Everyone should already know alice in wonderland so I'm not going to explain that, but steampunk is a lessor known subject, so that is something i might have to explain. What steampunk is an imaginary Victorian age, that features brass and copper clockwork and steampowered inventions that go far beyond 1800's technology. Steam powered mechanical wonders, optimistic gear driven computers, dirigibles, clockwork firsts, and stuff like that. (But don't forget the goggles~!)

Chiru's design:
from left to right is Mad hatter(me), alice(charii) and white rabbit...gone mad...(chiru)

If Chiru can pull off making all 3 costumes then she will deserve a medal or something, because this design looks perfect. The only thing I have to do is make the hatter's hat, white rabbit's knife, clock/watch and all the gears, so i have it pretty easy.

Pandora hearts

We are planning to go carbon copy with this one, getting as close as possible with our designs which we unfortunately have drawn yet, so I'll just show you who we are going as.
From left to right is Bloody rabbit(chiru), oz(charii) and Gilbert(me)
Once again its going to be up to Chiru to make the costumes(probably going to be the same every-time), my only job is making Gilbert's gun and Rabbit's scythe, so its not going to be as laid back for me for this one

I was planning to post more but it's getting late and I'm planning to play pool with some friends latter so I'm going to have to wake up before they sneak into my room and try to jump on me like last time >.>
Anyways, latter stalkers~!

Complexity, too much stuff!!

My life...so complex....Ok, not really complex, but there are a lot of things going on, driving me mad!!

It's funny since everyone sees me as the happy go lucky type that just goes with the flow, when I'm really going all out in things they don't know. Right now for example (right now = within the last hour), I'm taking to the leading man(person in charge) of my band, finding out what he wants for our music video, talking to our video editor, working out what we must do for the video and where to rent good quality video cameras(because using phone cameras was a stupid idea >.>). I'm also looking for uni scholarships, studying japanese, watching the lunar eclipse, looking for new games to play(always a priority) and practising guitar(^_^)

And thats just during holidays!! It gets way worse when I have school (tutor, study groups, etc)

But I guess it's all right, since it'll pay off in the end, hopefully....

Ok! now for something that's actually interesting(well more then my early life crisis) I recently found two pretty good youtube channels recently. The first is "4playerpodcast", the name says it all, 4 gamers have a podcast and play games, they have won the gamers podcast awards twice in a row and are pretty funny. their podcast site is alot better then their youtube channel!

Channel here --> http://www.youtube.com/user/4PlayerPodcast
Podcast here --> http://4playerpodcast.com/

The next is Tofugu, he is a half japanese blogger who used to do youtube comedy about america in japanese but now does comedy about learning japanese and japanese culture in english, his two channels are awesome (one is japenese and one in english) and his blog is just as good(actually much better)

Channel here --> http://www.youtube.com/user/tofugu

Thats it for me, time to get back to running 3 lives at once. OH!!! btw, my band is making a music video soon, I'll be sure to leave a link when it's done, but it might be a little heavy for your tastes since it is punk/metal, *shrugs* I can't play j-rock all the time now can I? *sad face*

A day of slacking

As I said before I recently got back into world of warcraft, and I have spent most of the day play it with a few friends (mainly one person, but I forgot her character name and don't feel like using her real name). Had to prepare dinner again, clean a lot of things and buy the groceries(surprised I remembered to buy everything), It's starting to seem like I'm turning into a maid. Although I better be careful when saying that, last time I did at least 4 people offered me maid outfits, where they got them from I don't want to know(they still keep offering them to me >.>)

Believe it or not that is everything I did today, some people might see that and say "Day well spent", others might go "Get a life", but what both have to remember is that each day for me is total irrelevant to the last. Who knows, tomorrow I could making something for a friend(with a fee of course ;p), making a new song, or even going to the city(everything comes up last minute, kinda fun)

Anywho, latter haters~!

Finally money is near

Tried my hand at working today, wasn't to bad compared to what I expected, moving 2 tonnes of scrap metal into a container is easier then it seems. Hopefully I'm getting paid decently, I haven't got a clue on what the average pay is for that sort of thing is, but it was only a one off job so I guess it doesn't matter much. I'm guessing that most of the money is going straight to clothes *grin*

Also got my hair cut today, I told him to layer the top and shorten the fringe. Just before he started my mum called him over and told him something, in my mind I was screaming "Please don't tell him to cut it short, please, PLEASE, PLEASE!!". When he started the first thing he did was take a massive chunk off the side, I was like "FAAAAAARRRR-!!!" in my head, it was too late to stop him from cutting it short so i just went with it.

After is was done I went up to my mum and ask why, she told me she thought I would look nice with shirt hair, even though I told her I wanted long hair(not long long, like just past my shoulders) *sigh*

Well, wasn't to bad in the end, got paid, got a hair cut that was actually pretty good(still wanted it longer though) and I found out that mum is going to connect my bank account to a debit card so I can start buying things online without having to nag her. So happy about that last bit~!  *(^o^)*

FIRST POST!!1!!11!

Feels weird to blog something for the first time. But meh, i've been chased by girls trying to get me to wear dresses during anime conventions so this is probably only a 2/10 on the weirdness scale.

Anywho, i got back into world of warcraft, yes i know geeky as hell, but meh people have been bugging me to play for a while now some guys from school, some girls from many schools, people from tafe, some from uni and some people i met at that engineering camp i went to last week(some people were more influential then others if you know what i mean).

ok back on topic, i got back into wow. made a worgen warlock(im a sucker for neo-victorian fashion, music and architecture, which worgens have alot of) played for a bit then got bored, man i get distracted easily.

ok, thats enough about my geeky culture, time for some interesting stuff (or not XP)
Was practising with the band today, instead of playing our two new pieces we ended up playing our favourite old pieces like 7 times. Afterwards we got hungry so we all went off to bonny plaza (omg you now know where i live, the horror!!) to grab some food.

On the way back we thought it would be cool to take some band pics at the park (we like to procrastinate) and after a few pics (i had an awful face in all of them T-T) it started to rain, and by rain i men't hailing like there was no tomorrow. of course our drummer just ran back to where we set up practice leaving us there, after ten minutes we decided that it was probably wise to do the same since it didnt look like the rain was going to get any lighter.

When we got back we were soaked, lucky our host(our bassist) had plenty of towels on hand so we dried off pretty quick. we spent the rest of the time going through the recordings we did and some of the pictures we took, as i said before my facial expression was horrible(as it always is in photos *sigh*)

When i got back i just played around on wow like i said, then started to flick though Shizuka Sakura's blog(i know its not her real name, but i think she might be mad if i used it here) She is still trying to guess who i am, Good luck Shizuka~!
